I enjoy modelling and I am happy to leave the type of pose to the tutor or facilitator. I specialise in doing long poses because I can hold a reasonable pose for a long time without a break. I also enjoy seeing the artists/students drawings done from a number of short gesture poses. Most groups I model for start off with a series of short poses, followed by a couple of medium length poses and finish with a long pose. The art produced from a long series of the same pose (I modelled for 3 hours per session for 3 sessions over 3 weeks)can be quite stunning.
